The city maintains two parks with playground equipment. One also has a swimming pool, ball field, tennis courts, pickle ball court and basketball hoops. Basketball and pickle ball court downtown.

The Randolph Decker Library has books, DVDs, and wireless internet access at it's downtown location.

Historical Society
The Historical Society operates a museum, and offers the community a gathering place at the renovated former Presbyterian church. The restored 1903 Votteler-Hettche pipe organ is an outstanding, tracker pipe organ is an outstanding feature of this building.
Clyde Pool
The Clyde swimming pool is open Memorial Day Monday through Mid August. (last day is decided by school startup)

Arboretum
Clyde’s tree board created an arboretum with gardens.
Tree & Brush Disposal Site
The City maintains a tree dump located at the southeast edge of town for tree limbs, leaves, grass clippings and yard waste disposal. To reach the dump location, follow Borton Avenue south beyond where the pavement ends. At your first opportunity, turn left. For grass clippings and leaves, the disposal area is located immediately to your left. For trees, limbs and yard waste - follow the road further east and you will see the tree disposal area. A sign is posted at the dump entrance, clearly stating acceptable waste materials. Treated lumber is NOT ACCEPTED.

Volunteers provide this service. Mari Detrixhe manages the 30-year-old center and a core group operates it. On week 1: Connie Mueller & Mari Detrixhe, week 2: Donna Hamel & Nancy Nicholas, week 3: Art & Kristen Baker, Calyn, Camdyn & Boland, and week 4: Jennifer Koch & Mari Detrixhe. Other volunteers are on-call to fill in occasionally. They are Beth Bergstrom, Karla Danielson, Noel Garrison, Kara Nobert, Deb Ohlde, James & Diane Quillen, Steve & Christy Rogers, and Jennifer Sothers. If you would like to volunteer, let us know.
The City of Clyde provides the facility. City maintenance man Dan LeDuc loads the shipments to the Cloud County Recycling Center. A forklift for loading is made available by Clyde Ideal Market, Clyde Hometown Lumber, or Reed Seed Sales.
With a little help from many hands, the Clyde Area Recycling Center offers a dependable and friendly community service.
